About Us Who we are

We are Generation Church. Better known as GC, this is the youth ministry of the Helperkerk. Out passion is to bring the life-changing reality of God to a new generation. For students (age 12-25) we host GC meetings, special events and small groups. Why do we do all this stuff? Because we´re passionate about God´s life-changing power to a new generation.

Ismee & Angela Wubs

GC lead pastors

Ismee and Angela are the GC lead pastors. They have two wonderful children Emilie and Judah and reside in the best neighbourhood of Groningen: Lewenborg. You can often spot Ismee and Angela at the Starbucks. Favorite drinks: frappe mint chocolate (Angela), rasberry white chocolate mocca (Ismee).

Gersom ten Cate

GC a/v/v communication ´guru´

Gersom is the GC audio/video/visual communication 'guru'. He lives also in the neighbourhood of Groningen: Lewenborg. In his spare time he loves fishing, playing board games and building websites.

Peter & Willemijn 13

GC teenage pastors

Peter and Willemijn are the GC teenage pastors. They met on Curacao, prepared their wedding in China and married in Middelburg. They are now living in the multicultural neighbourhood: Indische buurt. Willemijn love's to be creative in making things. Peter love's fishing and be active outside.
